About Us

Phil is an award winning photographer and filmmaker who has been taking pictures since he borrowed his father's camera 45 years ago. However, it has been recently that he discovered his true passion, abstract digital photography. "It actually came about by accident. My family and I were walking around an area with abundant Christmas lights. I took a few pictures and realized that the light level was very low and the lights began to smear. Suddenly I realized that I had spent my entire photographic career trying to keep the camera still. Suddenly I was waving it around like a brush and I began literally to paint with light. This is the purest photography that I have ever created and I call it Lightstrokes, digital painting with light."
